Saiyans

The surviving Saiyans inherit a culture built around conquest, but survival gives each of them room to decide what inheritance means.

A conquered warrior people

Saiyans possess tails, transform under Blutz Waves and historically sell the results of planetary conquest. Frieza incorporates them into his empire, fears their legend and destroys Planet Vegeta.

Goku and Vegeta

Earth gives Goku relationships that redirect his love of combat toward protection. Vegeta remembers royal hierarchy and extinction directly. Their rivalry stages two responses to the same lost origin.

Bodies and recovery

Saiyans retain youth for combat and can become stronger after surviving extreme injury, though the story does not treat recovery as a limitless shortcut. Tails and Great Ape transformation become less central as Super Saiyan forms take over.

Children of Earth

Gohan, Trunks and Goten combine Saiyan potential with Earth families and expectations. They reach certain thresholds early, but none shares the older generation’s exact relationship to battle. Heritage supplies ability, not a fixed destiny.
