Anime OK editorial guide

About Anime OK

Independent guides for people who want context, not a score pretending to settle the conversation.

What we publish

Anime OK publishes independent English-language guides to anime, manga, characters and Japanese cultural context. We focus on explanations that remain useful: how formats work, why production choices matter and how a character changes across a story.

Our approach

We separate fact, interpretation and opinion. We prefer specific examples to hype, acknowledge when versions or continuities differ, and do not invent ratings, credentials or consensus. The editorial policy describes review and correction practices.

A collective byline

Work is credited to the Anime OK Editorial Team when a collective byline is appropriate. We do not attach fictional names or biographies to articles. Learn more on the editorial team page.
