Goten and Trunks create Gotenks through mirrored poses performed at equal power. A bad angle or mismatched movement produces a failed body, turning technique into visual comedy and making synchronization a real condition of success.
A combined personality
Fusion does not simply place two minds side by side. Gotenks exaggerates qualities the boys share: confidence, invention, competitiveness and a love of dramatic presentation. He names attacks as readily as he creates them.
The battle with Buu
Inside the Room of Spirit and Time, Gotenks develops a wide range of techniques and reaches Super Saiyan 3. His performance against Buu is impressive, but staged suspense and wasted time repeatedly compromise the plan.
